NICT is recently selected & empaneled with Shreetron India Limited (Dept. of IT & Electronics Govt. of UP) for providing Aadhaar kits, operator cum supervisors certified by UIDAI to operate (end to end) Aadhaar centers atprovided govt. Dept. premises. The Aadhaar Enrollment Center will be opened only at State Government Departments Premises. NICT has allotted three districts of Uttar Pradesh State i.e. Lucknow, Pilibhit and Fatehpur.

NICT is authorize to onboard as an Offline Verification Seeking Entity (OVSE) under the framework defined by Unique Identification Authority of India to leverage Aadhaar Offline Verification mechanisms (XML/Secure QR Code). This initiative is designed to enable secure, consent-based, privacy-preserving identity verification across NICT’s diverse service ecosystem while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and data protection norms.
